On Thursday, July 9th, our day was all about team spirit, high energy, and, best of all, some seriously good food! We kicked off with a relaxed breakfast together at our office in Pulheim. From there, well-fortified, we headed to the Clarenhof in Frechen – and that’s where things got sporty. For a full 2.5 hours and across 27 holes, we aimed high, laughed and, of course, competed a little for victory. Who would have thought that a tiny ball on artificial turf could spark so much ambition? ⛳ Afterwards, the culinary highlight of the day was waiting for us: a barbecue course on the Big Green Egg! Under expert guidance, we prepared a fantastic menu and, of course, enjoyed it to the max. On the menu were pinsa, grilled lettuce hearts, cooked salmon fillet with coconut curry, the perfect steak with thyme and garlic butter, and grilled corn-fed chicken. To round off the day in style, we were treated to a ‘Caveman Style’ dessert with mascarpone cream, Grand Marnier, grilled strawberries and caramel crunch. A real highlight! The day was accompanied by delicious drinks, with which we were thoroughly spoilt. We finally rounded off the evening in a relaxed atmosphere at the Landbrenner inn. An all-round fantastic team day with brilliant weather, a brilliant atmosphere and lots of lovely moments together. That’s exactly what a team event should look like more often!
