BACKUP EAGLE® ensures complete reporting and centralized control of your IBM Spectrum Protect backups and restores. A separate log is created for each IBM Spectrum Protect backup/restore. Errors that affect backups that are not relevant from a restore perspective can be transparently ignored.
This function available in BACKUP EAGLE® for re-evaluating error messages that are irrelevant for a restore considerably reduces the effort required for daily checks. BACKUP EAGLE® recognizes backups that have not been started – completely independently of the scheduling tool used. All results of your IBM Spectrum Protect backups and restores are provided daily as a report. BACKUP EAGLE® automatically creates daily documentation on the configuration of your IBM Spectrum Protect environment. This also includes a separate report containing all configuration changes to your IBM Spectrum Protect environment.
